July 3 was pretty laid back. We slept in and just hung around the house. In the afternoon, we went downtown to see what was happening with the Freedom Festival booths. (Provo does an amazing 4th of July celebration.)
This kids had fun with this crazy game.
The kids were super excited to run into Whitney Call and Stephen Meek from Studio C. I don't think Whitney was terribly excited about taking a picture (or maybe she was having a bad day), but they were still both super nice to take a picture with us.
I was super excited to find an Argentine food vendor and thoroughly enjoyed my milanesa sandwich. I could only eat half of it. It was huge!! (Guess what's for lunch tomorrow...)
We also had a very mellow 4th of July and just stayed home all day. My parents bought a pool for the backyard since the old one bit the dust.
The kids helped put it together. They were super excited to swim with their "floatation devices." (I think perhaps they fly too much.)
I love my parents' back yard.
Jalen wore himself out.My cousin, Mark, came over with his little Olivia. She had fun playing with Baylie.
Tonight my niece, Ashley, came over with her husband, Tyler, and their little Will. What a cutie! We could have watched him for hours!
I love being with family. There is nothing like it.
