Growing up, I was very close to my Hanks cousins. We used to go to my grandparents and later my Aunt Karen's for Thanksgiving every year. Over time, I've lost contact with most of them and I don't even know their kids. It's kind of sad. Earlier this year, my cousin Bekah reached out and said she wanted to have a reunion. I was happy to learn she wanted that and so we put together an informal get together.
We had Grammy & Granddad, my Uncle Del, Aunt Kathy, my family, Clark's family, Tiff's family, my cousins Bekah, Rachel, Michael, John, and Jason's families - or at least some of them. It was the most of us that had been together in a really long time.
My cousin John. His sister in law is actually the head of my team with Optavia. Small world!

Uncle Del wanted to share his testimony and some things he had from the Book of Mormon.

It poured rain, but we were under a picnic shelter. There was a beautiful rainbow that filled the whole sky.
I had to laugh at mom and Del on their phones. Del is over 80 and mom is 78. And they say kids spend too much time on their devices!
I love my family and I'm so glad we got to have this time together. I hope we do it every year.
