I've become a major coupon shopper. I'm not as good as my neighbor, who is the one that taught me. She can fill the whole trunk and only spend $10. I seldom spend over $100 a week on groceries anymore. This week I got $224.89 worth of groceries for $118.83. That included two packages of pull ups and two packages of diapers. The sad thing is that even though I've cut my monthly grocery bill in half, I still spend more than when we were in Utah.
My best deal of the week was at Payless Shoes. I had a gift card, a coupon and they were having their buy one, get one half off sale. So I got tennis shoes for me and for Baylie for a total of $5.26!
Stuff like this makes me want to home school. (Not coupon shopping, click on the link to see why.)

Love your coupon-ing skills... and your blog... and you!
I'm so proud of you becoming a coupon-er!! We also coupon and it's amazing how much we save...we spend less than $60/week on Groceries for our family of 5!!!
Love the shoes....super, SUPER cute!
How inspiring! Do you clip coupons from the newspaper or get them online or what? Isn't that sad that I come from a generation that has no idea how to use coupons!? Please do share your skills! PS Your kids are so super cute
I do both. I clip from the paper and I print some. I have to be careful so that I don't print so many that I spend in toner what I save on groceries. I am not the master, but I've had enough people ask me for help, so I think I'll do a blog post in the near future about it.
I don't understand why finding a deal makes you want to homeschool...And...I thought you were buying shoes for David.
You have to click on the "this" link to see why I want to home school and we did buy shoes for David - but it wasn't a great deal...
