Baylie was told that she would be receiving an end of year award, but we had no idea what it would be. I was invited to attend.
Baylie was invited to participate in leading the pledge of allegiance.
There were a bunch of mini trophies for students that made the principal's list all year. Baylie earned almost 100% in all her classes all year.
We waited through the entire ceremony and I figured her Presidents List was the only award she was getting. We were both shocked when she was awarded the Physical Fitness Student of the Year. Say what! She doesn't even like PE! But she's such a good kid that the teacher wanted to recognize her.
I'm so proud of this girl. She is truly an amazing delight.
And I'm grateful she has sweet friends.
I'm still trying to figure how we got here.
