Several years ago we took the kids to the Charleston Open. We went on the family free days and camped out. It was a fun trip. This year we decided to go again, but this time I bought tickets for the semi finals. David ended up not being able to go so we decided to make it a girls day and invite April and Alexa Alsup. We had a great time.
They've updated the venue and it's a great place to watch a match.I love that Baylie loves tennis.
They flew a flag in support of Ukraine. It's so interesting to think of international sports where you have athletes from Russia and Ukraine playing in the same events.
I tried to get pictures of the names of all the previous winners that are around the stadium, but it was hard with people blocking them.
I am so grateful for April in my life. She's such a dear friend. It was FREEZING so I bought this jacket. It was ridiculously expensive, but I love it.
I totally fan geeked out because Lindsay Davenport and Pam Shriver were there reporting. Baylie and I even managed to walk behind their booth so we were on TV. I didn't get a picture of that sadly.
I actually took this when they showed it again the next day on the tennis channel. I tried to catch the picture of me and Baylie, but missed it.
Look at these sweet girls. I'm so glad Baylie has such good friends.
They are sweet, but weird. They got autographs from some of the semi finalists.
