Happy at Home

Yesterday morning was a hard one. I'm not sure if it's because the kids were crying so much or because Baylie's arm hurt or if it was because I untwisted her hair which took a long time and more tears, but it was a long morning.

Then as I sat across from Baylie at lunch and watched her doze over her plate, I was filled with gratitude because I got to be there and see it. It was a simple, everyday moment, but it was so cute. And I got to be there. I get to be there for everything, good and bad. And I am grateful.

On another note, we got Jalen's hospital bill today. The hospital bill plus the doctor's bill is $25,000! Thank heavens for insurance.
