Once again it was time for the Irmo Elementary Talent Show. I love that Baylie and Jalen always participate.
This year, Jalen decided to play the same piano piece he performed for his recital. He did it without any music.
He didn't take a bow, so I had to get a picture of him as he walked off the stage.
Baylie sang a beautiful song called "Extraordinary" by Victory. The message is very poignant and I cried my eyes out.
I was very proud of her. She has overcome a lot of difficulties this year and the song was a perfect message for that.
Tania Turner, the IES music teacher, has been a wonderful role model for Baylie. I love being on the same team as her at work. She helped Baylie prepare for the talent show.
It was kind of emotional to see Baylie in the 5th Grade act because it means that it really is her last year in the talent show.
As always, it was a great show.
