Molly & Jayden's Wedding

Molly and Jayden Spencer got married in the Orem, Utah, temple. I thought they were really smart because they got married at 4 p.m. in the afternoon and had their reception at 7 p.m. That's better than getting married in the morning and then having to wait around all day. The whole thing was very laid back - just like Molly. She seems very happy.

Bea was having a moment.
Beautiful bride
Their reception was in the backyard of someone in their ward. It was casual and involved a lot of dancing.
This car was parked out front so I took some pictures for Jalen.
I flew in on Thursday, the wedding was Friday, and I flew home Saturday. It was super quick, but I'm so glad I could be there for Molly's special day.

Strawberry Days Rodeo

I made a quick trip to Utah for Molly's wedding. The kids decided not to go because they wouldn't really get to see anyone. Plus they were still tired from the Vegas trip.

I got to Utah just in time for the Strawberry Days Rodeo. Grammy didn't want to use her ticket so she gave it to me. I always love a good rodeo and I love hanging out with my family.

Strawberry days is all about the strawberries. Bea and Will had cute ones on their cheeks.
Yummy!!
Shanelle and Erik even had them on their cute shirts! - Storm Trooper Strawberries.
They always put on a good rodeo.

It was a late night, but well worth it.

Charleston 2024

We love Charleston. It's such a great city. We decided to spend a night there.
We started at Sullivan's Beach. We had been to the lighthouse, but had never actually been to the beach.
The beach itself was huge. f
There was a deserted catamaran. I have no idea if it was seaworthy.
I love our South Carolina beaches with wild grasses and flowers.
Customs House
Market
Candy Shop
Pralines
Charleston is so charming.
We had never been inside the post office before. It was cool.
Rainbow Row
Such an iconic shot of the bridge.
We took a water taxi ride across the river. Not sure it was worth it, but it was still fun.
U.S.S. Yorktown. One day we need to go visit it.
Angel Oak
Magnolia Plantation - now the swamp tour is included for free. It was very cool.
These birds in the trees were fascinating.
Iconic white bridge
Flowers
Cypress Gardens - one of my favorite places.
Charleston never gets old.
