Myrtle Beach 2025

July 9-13 Baylie was invited to go on a friends' trip to Myrtle Beach with the Bailey twins and Rachel Chorey. Their grandma lives near the beach and loves to host these trips with her grandkids when they're seniors.

4th of July 2025

Our friends Rick and Jacki Hunlow invited a bunch of people from the ward over to celebrate the 4th of July. We don't usually do much on the 4th so it was fun to get together with friends.

Youth Conference and FSY 2025

Jalen and Baylie got to go to Youth Conference the end of June. It was great that they could go together.

As their service project, the youth played games with people in a retirement center. It was such a fun activity and the residents loved it.

Baylie and Natalie Bailey decided they wanted to go to FSY again even though our stake wasn't going. They paid for it themselves

They had a wonderful time and made new friends. It helped solidify their special friendship.

It was their last hurrah before the Bailey twins and Talia left for BYU. It was hard for Baylie to have them all leave.

Jalen had a pool day with his best bud, Jay Brusin.

And he experimented with a new do.

He helped David put new brakes on my car.

I went with Jackie Hunlow to an herbal shop where she taught me how to make my own medical remedies.

It was such a fascinating experience.

When I got home, I put the herbs in the jars and covered them with vodka. I felt so guilty buying vodka!!

The medicine had to sit for 60 days and then it was ready. It tastes terrible, but works like a charm.
