Today we woke up to this...
This is a LOT of snow for South Carolina. David's first school day of the semester was cancelled, so we just hunkered down and had a fun day at home.
Another amazing thing about coupons is that I haven't shopped since two weeks before Christmas, and we're still okay. We picked up some staples like milk, cheese and eggs on Saturday, but I haven't done a big shopping trip.
One year ago yesterday we sold our car because we felt such a strong impression that we needed to get ready to adopt again. We had absolutely no idea that our little Jalen would be born 10 short days later.
Baylie got a bunch of pans and dishes for Christmas. We don't have time or money for a play kitchen, so we turned the top of her dresser into a little stove and added a shelf. She is having a blast with it.
Baylie is missing her Utah family. Today she was talking about her cousins and then said, "I don't have any friends in South Carolina." It was so sad! I reminded her of Miya, Kilea and her friends in nursery and Music Makers.
Baylie loved her princess fingernails. Her favorite Christmas presents are her ballerina skirt and her princess slippers.
She has started throwing out random movie quotes. Sometimes it takes David and me a while to figure out what movie she is quoting and we are astounded at the things she remembers. She came up with this one on her own this morning. (Of course the replay is staged.)

I LOVE Baylie's smolder, too cute! And Jalen is such a chubby bubby! You just want to eat him up! Cute cute cute kids!
Okay...that is too funny!! She has a mind like a steel trap! I had to think and think about where that line was in the movie. So cute!!
