Happy Easter!

We started the day yesterday with egg decorating. Like last year, we just opted for food coloring and vinegar. It works great.

Baylie is a fanatic egg colorer. (So are David and I. We each had 10 eggs to color - I cut down from the usual dozen this year.)

Jalen was speedy and finished way before the rest of us. 

We also decided to do our Easter dinner yesterday rather than on Sunday. It made Sunday a lot more peaceful and less stressful.

Baylie woke us up at 6:30 in the morning to tell us the Easter Bunny had already come. Jalen was still asleep. I am pretty sure that is the only time in their lives that Baylie has woken up first - or that early.

We made her go back to bed and wait for Jalen to wake up. He was only about 20 minutes behind her. I think he may have had some help. They were both excited about their baskets. The baskets were pretty simple. I got the candy and coloring books from the Dollar Store - not much candy - and movies that were on sale at Target (new Disney Blu Rays for only $13!).

The kids looked amazing in their Easter outfits. We have the cutest kids!
