Bear Lake Family Reunion

We've had some major happenings here at the Batchelor Pad. First, after years of contemplation, I finally decided to have gastric bypass surgery. I've started a completely separate blog about that process. The recovery has been a lot harder than I anticipated.

So last week, the week after my surgery, David and the kids went to my family reunion without me! I enjoyed the first couple of days or so, but then I was soooo LONELY. I got lots of rest, the house stayed clean, but I missed the chaos.

My kids on the other hand, didn't miss me at all. They had a blast with their cousins, aunts, uncles, Grammy and Grandad. I didn't take any of these pictures. I stole them from my mom's blog.

The reunion was at Bear Lake. My sister, Tiffani, was in charge this year and rented a big house near the lake.

Bear Lake is awesome because the water isn't too deep and the kids can go out pretty far without getting in over their heads.
