Hanging Out With Kindergarteners

The Friday before Halloween, I got to help out with the kindergarten Fall Fun Fair. I got my picture taken with Mr. Stacks.

Then this week I went with Jalen to Sease Farm for a field trip. It was a little cold and pretty wet, but lots of fun. We went on a hay ride while Farmer Sease taught us where the things on our table actually come from.

Collards - these are huge. It is the official leafy vegetable of South Carolina (or something like that).

Donkey, cows and goats. (I thought Farmer Sease went a little over the top about how cows end up on the table...)

It was a fun day at the pumpkin patch. (We even got to take one home with us. Jalen is convinced he will turn his into pumpkin pie. I am convinced his pie will come from a can.)
