Family Reunion - Day 2

This morning, the kids were eager to get back in the pool.
The teenagers were not as enthusiastic about an early morning swim.
The place we are staying has an indoor basketball court. (The place is seriously amazing.) David and Jalen decided to shoot some hoops.
They were joined by my nephew, Cameron.

Later in the morning, we headed to the Virgin River. David and I chauffeurred "the girls" These four girls have so much fun together. They were born within a year of each other. I'm so glad Baylie has best friends that are cousins and I wish she got to spend more time with them. They quoted the movie "Ferdinand" all the way to the river.
My sister's family had been here the week before at her husband's family reunion. The water was much lower and not nearly as brown. It was fast and deep. It was actually pretty awesome. It reminded me a lot of adventures we had when I was young and grew up in southern Utah.
Potato chip photo bomb by Dave.
Back at the house, the showers are so big that the kids could all fit at once. It will take more than one shower to get all the brown out!
Videos of the day.
Proof that I jumped, even if you can't see me hit the water.
It was a fabulous day that was later followed by a crazy hard rain and flash floods.
