School & Sports

Between school and sports, we had quite a bit going on over the past several months.

Jalen decided he wanted to play basketball again. He had a really good coach and grew a lot during the season. He did tell me he thinks sports might not be his thing.

He also ran track, but I can't find the pictures. I'll have to add them later.

Jalen got student of the month for Mrs. Moody's class!
For Career Day, he was a scientist.
For Career Day, I dressed up like the principal.
Grocery shopping
School pictures - such a cute boy
An apple a day - teacher appreciation week from District 5.
Field Day - I am going to miss not being there for all these moments now that I won't be teaching at his school.
With his best friend, Bo.
Limbo
Rock, paper, scissors
Relay races
Water bucket relay
Me with some of my students. I'm going to miss my job.
They  made me this cute Lego bumblebee.
Jalen & Bo
Last week at IES
IES Teachers
Mrs. Moody was an amazing teacher. Jalen had an amazing year.
I dressed up Mr. Bebber's creepy baby doll.
I still remember how excited I was to have my name sign. Here's my last picture of it.
Jalen made the honor roll all four terms.
Last day of school - welcome to summer! David picked the kids up from school.
Baylie played soccer. She had a good experience, but doesn't want to play it next year. She really improved and was great on defense.
She won student of the month.
And also won a band trophy.
She loves playing the flute.
She had a couple hair days. We love Monica.
Hair Day #2

She also got a COVID shot. We're grateful that 3 of the 4 of us are immunized.
Both the kids had amazing years. We're grateful that despite COVID, they were able to attend school and participate in extra curricular activities.
