Baylie's 15!

Baylie didn't get a party this year, but she got to have "a friend" over for a sleepover. However, when friends have close siblings that are also your friends, the get together grows a little bit. Baylie decided to have a Twilight marathon.

I don't know who has more fun with these birthday celebrations - my kids or me. I love planning them. I made each girl a bag with her initial on it.
The bags were full of things for the marathon: activity book, "werewolf," vampire teeth, chocolates, glow sticks, lip balm, a sleeping mask and an ink pen.
I had ordered Twilight Bingo cards and they were lame so I made my own
The winner got to choose a gift.

Audra Deal made Baylie this amazing cake!
I made other tasty treats that fit the theme.

Hearts of Darkness
Eclipses
Blood Balls (red velvet cake balls)
Other treats included Werewolf Chow (Chex Mix), Red Veins, Wolf Droppings (popcorn), Cullen Kill (chicken fingers), Red Blood Cells (chocolate covered pomegranites), and Blood (sparkling water).
Baylie's friends are such sweet girls.
Rachel Chorey, Baylie, Olivia Chorey, Kaitlyn and Natalie Bailey
Ready for the marathon!
They made it through two movies - I think - that night and then two more the next morning. Only Natalie stuck it out through the end.

It seems like just yesterday, Baylie looked like this. She was bossing me around even back then!

She was the answer to all my prayers and has continued to be a delight.
We are so grateful to have her in our family.
