For the past several years, we've brined our Thanksgiving turkey. It makes the turkey so tender and tasty. Plus, I think the brine looks pretty.
There was still a feather!
The brine isn't quite as pretty with the raw turkey in it.
This year we invited Samuel and Denise Onuoha to join us. David was excited because Denise made greens and I never make them. Samuel is from Nigeria. We have learned that our kids have Nigerian DNA. They are sweet friends.
At some point in November, we had Ebelskivers with the elders. Elder Noah Evans said that was his favorite food and he had fond memories of them from home. His mom sent me the pan. We had never made them before.
It was kind of tricky to figure out how to flip them. David and Elder Evans were both pretty good at it.
Elder Ryan Cook was pretty good too.
They were both really excited to have them.
We liked them!!
