Utah Trip - Week 3 - Dentist, BYU, a Mission Call, Bear Lake, & Temple Open House

I took advantage of the opportunity to see Dr. Mark McKell and get some dental work done. The doctor I had in Columbia overcharged me and the filling she gave me fell out. I prefer to stay with a dentist I trust.

We met our friends the Collins family at BYU. They were in our ward in Columbia while Kirstina was getting a doctorate in conducting. Now she is a professor in California.

We toured the new music building. It's still under construction, but it's really nice.

We met the Collins' at the BYU Creamery for ice cream and then we walked around campus. We ended up at the bookstore.

I bought a set of these cute salt and pepper shakers for me and Grammy. Baylie thinks they're creepy, but I think they're cute!

We were lucky to be in Utah when Camden received his mission call. We've never been able to participate in that before so it was a great moment.

He's going to Poland!

I took advantage of Tiffani being in town to get my annual haircut. It was way past time! i love it!

Tiffani invited Baylie to join her family at the Jennings' family reunion so she and the twins could have more time together. She had a wonderful time.

Baylie got to drive a jet ski for the first time. 

She indulged in the infamous raspberry shakes!

Tiff's nephew Adre convinced the girls to do a polar plunge. Crazy!!

They had a blast at the lake.

Jalen and I joined Erik, Shanelle, Camden, and Asher for a baptism session at the Mt. Timpanogos temple. Again, it is so fun to go to the temple with family.

While we were visiting, Grammy & Grandad's garbage disposal broke. I decided to try and fix it myself!

I found a YouTube video that walked me through the process.

It was heavy!!

Someone gave Grammy and Grandad some new flowers, so with the help of Clark and Jonny, they dug up some lilac bushes that never bloomed and an old rose bush to make room for the new flowers.

They used the truck to pull out the hardest bushes.

Grandad and Jalen went fishing! Jalen loves to spend time with Grandad!

It was great to see so much of Cameron. He is so much happier in Provo than he was in Logan. We watched the Vegas Knights win the Stanley Cup and he is their biggest fan.

I went to visit a friend and client, Samantha Jensen, and she gifted me with these beautiful flowers that she arranged herself. They were fabulous and lasted clear until we went home.

We watched Titan while the Jennings were at Bear Lake. He became my companion.

He even slept on my legs!

He wanted in on Grammy & Grandad's hug. He really missed his family.

I was able to go to the Saratoga Srpings open house twice. I took Baylie before she went to Bear Lake and then Jalen and I joined more family later. The temple is beautiful. The colors are darker than I usually see in a temple. They are purple and dark teal. It is very rich and royal. The windows and carpets in particular are stunning.

We saw these adorable pots on the way home. So cute!! 

They also had minions made from pots.

Jalen had the opportunity to take a picture with Brad Wilcox who is in the General Young Men's Presidency and a friend of our family. He is such a good man.
