Wrapping up the 2024-25 School Year

What a great school year both Baylie and Jalen had. It seems like May took forever and was crazy busy.

Irmo High School had an awards celebration for underclassmen. Baylie received some recognitions.

All A Honor Roll. She has never had anything but an A.

Most Improved Social Studies Student
Visual & Performing Arts Student
Three awards in all.
It brought back memories of Baylie and Isabella in elementary school.
At the lacrosse banquet, Baylie got the paper plate award for Little Miss Sunshine.
She also earned a varsity letter.
And because of that she got a state certificate for being a a two-sport athlete. It was a miserable year and we're glad it's over, but at least she earned these recognitions!
Jalen and I went to graduation with the Choreys. At graduation Baylie got to be a junior marshal. It's quite an honor.

She also sang with the choir.
Somehow Jalen skipped out on all the pictures.

Olivia Chorey is added to this one - second from left.
This picture shows Mr. Walker who is a favorite of all these girls. He's a great teacher.
We went to the retirement party of some teachers at Irmo Elementary. Some of these teachers were favorites of Baylie. Jalen also loved seeing some teachers. I'm glad my kids had such a good elementary school experience.

Baylie was excited to see that the school still had the Hogwarts puzzle she donated to them. It's so cool.

Jalen with Mrs. Nickerson, Mrs. Moody, and Mrs. Parker.

Jalen finished 8th grade and now he's ready for high school!
