Moving to South Carolina - Day 2

About 1,100 miles down and 1,100 miles to go! Today we crossed the rest of Wyoming, all of Nebraska, a small corner of Iowa and entered Missouri. Along the way, we saw this sign which reminded us of a good friend.

We found Nebraska beautiful with LOTS of corn ...
... sunflowers, beautiful skies and wide open spaces. It was VERY flat!
This was our view most of the way.
And now a summary of what we saw:

Trucks - 1,375,201
Patrol cars - 4 (one in Wyoming, two in Nebraska and one in Iowa)
Gas station stops for refueling - 3
Wal Marts - 1 (do they even have Wal Mart in Wyoming?)
Interesting road kill - 2 (one racoon and one coyote)
Dead bugs - so many it sounded like it was raining on our windshield
New states - 3 (bumping my list of states visited to 37)

We're feeling very sad because Jalen crawled for the first time today and we missed it. We're also a little bummed that we don't have time to stop at any historical Mormon sites since we're so close to many of them.

We're making good time and hope to be back in Utah by Friday.

Note: Photos taken with my crappy AT&T LG Neon.

HaHa I hope the sign reminded you of ME and not of Jack... =) How fun. I'm secretly jealous that you get to see so many states. Just not jealous of your long drive.
