Fun Run and No Fun

I am not a fan of fund raisers, but I know they are necessary for schools to do all the things they want to do. One fund raiser I do like to support is the Fun Run because kids actually do something to earn the money they raise.

The kids walk a lap together.

Both Jalen and Baylie ran the maximum of 35 laps.

Baylie was a great little runner. We were so proud of her.

As for me, I won't be running for awhile. I had my miniscus surgery this morning. I was told my surgery was at 7:30 a.m., but actually I was supposed to be at the hospital at 7:30 for a 9:30 a.m. surgery.. We got there at 5:30!

Apparently my knee is in really bad shape from all of the years I have been so overweight so there is lots of damage. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!
