The first animals to greet us were these llamas that had recently been shorn.
Another friendly camel.
Very friendly
We were warned not to feed or pet the zebras because they bite. I made sure to keep my distance.
They are so beautiful.
Seriously, these camels need some boundaries.
They were joined by a goat.
I then had the opportunity to feed a very friendly camel.
Baylie and David fed a water buffalo.
These Scottish highland cows are so cute.
The African Watusi are impressive animals.
Some of them had horns as wide as our van.

Jalen was not as enthusiastic about the feeding opportunities. He retreated to the back seat.
He did face his fears and fed some of the animals.Another friendly camel.

Gazelle or antelope??
There were lots of ostriches that pecked at the painted dots on our window.
These llamas had groovy haircuts.

This was the only 2-humped camel we saw.
Melman the giraffe wasn't interested in our food.
But he was fascinated with my hat.Jalen was much more comfortable with the petting zoo.
Lazy 5 is much larger and has more animals than Eudora; however, I think the animals were better cared for at Eudora (just based on physical appearance, not actual scientific knowledge). Eudora is at least an hour closer to us than Lazy 5 so we will definitely go there again.
