Camping With the Baileys

We hadn't been on a "real" camping trip in a while. Our last one was pretty close to home and ended up being in the middle of a neighborhood. So when we found out the Baileys were going camping, we decided to hijack the trip. 

We had just purchased a new tent. We got a great tent on sale. (Plus Walmart accidentally sent us an extra and told us to keep it.) It turned out to be awesome.

We went to Poinsett Campground. It was beautiful. It wasn't crowded at all.

We had our tubes and kayaks. The Baileys rented paddleboards and a pedal boat.

...and even did Come Follow Me. The kids taught the lesson.

We ate lots of  yummy food...

We were there for two nights. Early on the morning of our last day, it started to rain, and the Baileys found out their tent was leaky. They scrambled and got up and packed everything. We helped them and I wanted to stay. But my kids wanted to go so we ended up following them a couple of hours later.

Even with the rain, it was a really fun campout and we enjoyed going with friends.
