Baylie has been playing tennis for Irmo High School since 7th grade. She earned a varsity letter as an 8th grader and a freshman. This year was another great year for her. She played singles line 3. There was a lot of drama on the team this year due to some coaching changes, but the girls persevered and made it to the state playoffs. The girls she plays with are sweet and good teammates.

Exhausted
At the end of the season, she was awarded All-Region honors. Pretty awesome for a sophomore!
She got her driver's permit a while ago and then in November received her limited driver's license. She is very excited and I am mildly terrified.
It was stressful because she passed the test with her driving instructor, but then was randomly selected by the DMV to be tested again. So much pressure!! She handled it well and passed both times. She forgot to do her hair for the all-important license photo!
She was also named to the National Honor Society.
She also made two different all-state choirs, but we'll post more about those when she performs with them.
