Mr. Jalen Goes to Washington

Jalen has been studying the constitution so we decided to fly up and see it! 

Sadly, there were only three seats so only Jalen and David went to Washington.

Baylie and I stayed home. We went back to bed and slept in! (We had woken up at 4 a.m. for the flight.)

When we woke up, we went to see The Boys in the Boat at the theater. It was fantastic.

Jalen and David got to Washington and took a train to the mall. 

The National Archives weren't open yet, so they decided to check out a gift shop. They found a lot of Trump gear. (Blah!)

Then they headed to the archives.

Jalen was impressed to see the documents he had been studying and he looked to find the signatures of the people he learned about.

Afterwards, they went to the Museum of Natural History. Jalen was excited to see some of the things that are part of the movie Night at the Museum.

Jalen is fascinated by geodes, so he was super excited about this humongous one.

The caught the evening flight back and were home before dark. It was such a fun, exciting, and educational day!
